Fall Bus Trip 2019

OVERNIGHT BUS TRIP
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8 & WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 9, 2019
Grey County (overnight at Owen Sound)
Depart Lambeth at 8:00 am Oct. 8 & return 8:30 pm Oct. 9

ITINERARY
TUESDAY OCTOBER 8

Depart Lambeth 8:00 am
Tim Hortons Listowel
Keady Livestock Market (250 vendors & live farm auction)
Bring your own lunch for day 1
Tour of a large garden
View local Water Falls in the area
Owen Sound – stay overnight at Comfort Inn

Dinner: “The Sizzlin” Restaurant
3 course dinner (house salad, 8 oz. New York Strip Loin, Crispy onion rings,
OR, 7 oz. Gilled Rainbow Trout w/ dill citrus beurre blanc,
OR 7 oz. Chicken Breast seasoned & BBQ’d finished w/ sundried tomato & Basil white wine cream sauce.
All served w/ Smashed Potatoes and Roasted Vegetables
Dessert: Decadent 5 Layer Chocolate Cake or
Caramel Apple Cheesecake w/ whipped cream, caramel & Chocolate drizzle and cinnamon suger duty
Evening: The Comfort Inn has allowed us to use their “Breakfast Room” for us to
gather and socialize ( play cards, checkers cribbage, relax and visit with each other).

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 9
Breakfast: Continental Breakfast served at the Comfort Inn
Travel to Walters Falls and then on to Georgian Hills Vineyards for a tour of the vineyard and winery.
Lunch will be provided us for this day from the European Bakery in Owen Sound.
Next stop is Farmers Pantry
Visit another beautiful garden
and stops at the waterfall along the way.
Tupling Potato Farm, a 3 generation family farm in Melancthon
Dinner: Schmidtsville Restaurant in Wellesley

There may be more stops on our journey which are yet to be determined and confirmed.
We will let you know more details as soon as possible.

Cost of the Trip….. Bus, Accommodation, 4 Meals, all Admissions,
taxes and gratuities…all inclusive.  Any Coffee Breaks, etc will be on your own.

Single: $375.        Double: $300.         Triple: $280.        Quad: $270.
Comfort Inn   **All beds are Queen Size**
$75. Deposit is required by August 15th.  Balance to be paid in full by September 5th.

“Thank you” to all of the participants who entered so many beautiful designs and flowers. 
Despite the rainy and cold spring we actually had an all time high of cut flower entries.
We appreciated hearing from so many of you who attended the show,
expressing your pleasure viewing the show and enjoying the lovely tea, coffee,
and angel food cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
